Clint was able to land an unexpected video job which enabled us to finally make it back up to Montana to visit Grammy and Papa Post. When we told

We finally got the car all loaded up. It ended up being one of our lightest trips to pack for since we decided to buy most of the clothes we’d need in Montana once we got there instead of paying for luggage.

Lydia loved our little adventure in Vegas. We got pizza for dinner and after we got settled in the hotel we went on a little walk for some Ice Cream.

We were at least able to catch a little of the sunset against the skyline on our walk back to the hotel.

Lydia had a hard time sleeping in the hotel. It was her first time and every little noise (which there were plenty of) woke her. Even so, she managed to

She was an incredible little flyer, and we had such a fun time with her on the plane. She loved going shopping for some actual warm clothes and some groceries and then we were on the road again to go find Grammy! Papa Post let her stand on the middle console and look out the sunroof on the way home! She loved it and tries to do it every time we go anywhere now!

She loved exploring Grammy and Papa’s house and loving on snoopy too. The next day we bundled her up in her cute new winter clothes and went on a nice walk.

One day we were up there we finally made it up to Glacier National Park. It was so incredibly beautiful! We went on one hike (about a mile long,

The only Wild life we saw was this little mountain goat. He was a pretty cute little guy!

Our very last stop was at the top of a trail (you could hike it but it’s 13 miles or something like that, so we opted for the driving version). It was so beautiful at the top. The visitors center was actually closed by the time we got there and it was cooling down really fast so

Afterwards, we headed back home. We stopped in Whitefish for some pizza that turned out to be its own adventure! The slices were huge! and Grammy Post tried to get a few red pepper flakes… She got more than she’d bargained for!

The slices were seriously big. We could all hardly believe Lydia could even hold one! She was so hungry after all the hiking in

When we were almost done eating Lydia was licking some dropped ice on the table, in Clint’s attempt to get her to stop licking the table he knocked over an entire glass of ice water on her! She was a champ and didn’t even cry, but somehow during this adventure, she found a quarter on the floor! (A little random, but none-the-less, very good fortune!) So to make up for splashing ice water on her Clint helped her play one of the arcade style games.

Clint, Lydia, and I all worked hard on our last day there to make this nifty wood-chopping contraption. Lydia loved playing with Grandma Beth and Grandpa Carls new puppy Pete (which we somehow managed not to get a picture of! :'(

We had another early morning the next day to get to the airport. Lydia was less inclined to leave than she was to come.

After a long trip away from home, we were greeted with cooler weather (for Arizona) and an amazing sunset!

We made so many memories in this short week.
